Who We Are

Zion Shohet is an Equity Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of Elliott Investment Management L.P. Mr. Shohet is a member of Elliott’s Management, Valuation, Compliance and Operational Risk, Allocation, and Cyber Risk Committees.

Prior to joining Elliott, he was at Citigroup where he held the following roles: Executive Vice President and Head of the Global Regulatory Reform and Implementation Group from 2010 to 2015, Chief Operating Officer of the Institutional Clients Group from 2009 to 2010, Treasurer and Head of Corporate Finance from 2007 to 2009, Head of Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions from 2004 to 2007, and Head of International Business Development from 2001 to 2003.  Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Shohet was Director at eFinanceworks from 2000 to 2001, Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company from 1995 to 2000, and an Analyst at Oliver, Wyman and Company from 1990 to 1992. Mr. Shohet received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School and was a Member of the Harvard Law Review.  He received his B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics from Princeton University.
